What We Do

— Empowerment

Sai Social Development Society works to motivate and empower people, giving them the confidence and ability to work together and influence their fellow slum residents, council officials, police, school authorities and others.

— Healthcare

There is a direct link between poverty and ill health. Slum dwellers are at risk from a wide range of health problems and when they become ill they are often reluctant to seek treatment. Fear, ignorance or a lack of money to pay for healthcare can all cause them to suffer in silence. Poor health causes them to miss work, creating new financial problems. Increased poverty further endangers their health and that of their families, and the cycle continues.

— Education

Many NGOs provide education for disadvantaged children, but Sai Social Development Society goes further. It motivates and encourages parents to send their children to school, and makes whole communities aware of the value of education. – something that was unthinkable before.

Millions of people in the country are still deprived of the basic necessities of life and regarded in society as ‘Underprivileged’. They are born and brought up with the inadequate education, health facilities and social support. For eliminating this curse from society a social welfare Sai Social Development Society is working dedicatedly and came up with the multiple health care and educational programs.

Don’t know the actual reason behind that why in our society education is only limited to boys? Due to such inequalities, girls are the one who is exploited most in society. Be it education, households, sexual harassment, clothes and there are many more areas where we find this section most exploited.
